The exhibition will showcase 50 years of television from Bang & Olufsen. The televisions showcased will all be the ones of choice at the different points in history. Held at the Volvo Showroom, the exhibition will also demonstrate the merits of the preferred philosophy of Scandinavian design and technology.
Volvo will be displaying the iconic P1800 at the exhibition from October 9, to Octomer 18, 2008. The classic car was widely acclaimed in the 50s and was driven by Roger Moore in the TV series, ‘The Saint’. The P1800 has inspired many of the current Volvo lineups, including the newly launched Volvo Ocean Race Limited Edition XC90, which will also be on exhibition.
Mr. Jonas Wulff Moller, Managing Director of Bang & Olufsen Singapore said:
“As Bang & Olufsen is a company renowned for being forerunners in our field, we felt that it is time we showcase the evolution of one of our best products – the television. It will surely interest viewers to note that we have always been consistent in design and function, developing what is best for the end-user. Of course, we are glad to present this exhibition in the great setting of another Scandinavian company; The Volvo Gallery.”
