The prosecutor demands at least 18 months in prison for the Norwegian father who abducted his seven-year-old daughter and brought her to Cambodia. The trial in Gothenburg district court ended Tuesday 7. 2008.
The Norwegian took his own child with him to Cambodia without the Swedish mother’s consent and he is therefore charged with aggravated child abduction of his own daugther.
He denies the crime and wants to be dismissed. However the court decided that the man should remain in custody until the verdict is known October 14, 2008.
