The Nordic ambulance company Falck is now working world wide by offering travel assistance to customers all over the world – including Southeast Asia. Falck has bought the international assistance company Europ Assistance’s Nordic business and secured a set of mutual cooperation agreements with the Europ Assistance Group in both roadside assistance and travel assistance. This means, that Falck now covers people, vehicles, home, and worldwide travel activities.
”It is a natural extension of Falck’s core competences, like instance healthcare, crisis management, handling of patients, roadside assistance and emergency preparedness” says Poul Mortensen, Senior Vice President of the Assistance division in Falck.
The Danish founded recue service is the largest private ambulance company in Europe. Falck now provides services in collaboration with the public authorities in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries – such as patient transport, rehabilitation of patients from the public hospital sector, operation of assistive equipment centres and services for the police and the road authorities.
