Denmark’s Vestas, the world’s biggest maker of wind turbines, said on Wednesday it had won an order in the competitive Chinese market for turbines with total capacity of 74 megawatts.
The order for 87 units of the V52-850 kW turbine comes from China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power (CGNWP), Vestas Wind Systems A/S said.
Delivery will take place in the fourth quarter.
Vestas did not give the value of the order.
