Opening Ceremony of SSI´s Beijing Office

Recently the grand opening ceremony of SSI’s new office in Beijing was held at the Royal Danish Embassy. SSI is a Danish government-owned enterprise holding expertise within the fields of vaccinations, blood plasma and genetic research. The main objective of SSI is to secure the preparedness towards infectious diseases and congenital disorders.

The Danish ambassador to China, Friis Arne Petersen, was present at the ceremony and cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony together with Vice-president of SSI, Frank Espersen.

In his opening speech, the ambassador praised the increasing number of Danish companies who have made the strategic decision to establish R&D departments and production entities in China; a country with a huge and expanding medicine market. He then commended SSI’s new Beijing office and wished SSI a prosperous future in China.

Among the invited guests were professors from Beijing Union Medical College, SSI’s distributors in China and representatives from FESCO (beijing foreign enterprise human resources service co., ltd).
