The Embassy hosted a well attended networking buffet reception at the Swedish Residence for ICT companies from Sweden and Singapore taking part in the annual CommunicAsia exhibition.
Ambassador Ingemar Dolfe in his welcome speech highlighted the strong Swedish ICT sector and Sweden’s long tradition in innovation and high-tech solutions. He also elaborated on tourism and business opportunities available in Sweden.
The annual CommunicAsia exhibition in Singapore attracted 12 Swedish exhibitors offering various ICT solutions. The Swedish pavilion was a buzz with activities. The Swedish Trade Council hosted networking mingle with key industry players from both Sweden and Singapore. The Ambassador gave a short introductory speech about the fruitful bilateral co-operation in a number of areas, including trade.
CommunicAsia is Asia´s largest knowledge based ICT platform and provides an overview of the ICT industry for facilitation of knowledge transfer and business opportunities.
