Denmark to Build Huge Tropical Park

Near the Danish town of Slagelse on Zealand in Denmark, it is planned to build a huge tropical adventure park.

The tropical park will be established under a huge glass dome. On the 6,400 square meters inside the dome, guests will have the opportunity to move through a jungle environment with exotic plants and 200 different species. As additional entertainment it will be possible to simulate both earthquakes and volcanic eruptions under the dome, writes the Danish daily ekstrabladet.dk.

The project will be presented to the public at a meeting on 27 August, where representatives of the Foundation behind the project and Slagelse mayor Lis Tribler will explain the plans. Efforts shall be made for the opening of the tropical park to be held in 2014.
