The Swedish Embassy in China organised a Christmas Reception on 14 December 2011 for Chinese studying the Swedish language at the Beijing Foreign Studies University as well as the China Communication University.
The reception was also for some of the Swedish students studying the Chinese language in Beijing.
As the Swedish mulled wine, gingerbread and fruits were served at the embassy, guests enjoyed themselves and the decorations at the embassy.
Later a Swedish Christmas quiz was held and several songs were performed by both the Chinese and Swedish students. As part of the background, there was a picture slideshow showing the Chinese students’ stay in Sweden accompanied by Christmas tunes.
