Business Finland, National Innovation Agency of Thailand signed MoU

Permanent Secretary Mr. Jari Gustafsson, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland and Permanent Secretary Associate Professor Dr. Soranit Siltharm, Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand witnessed on 13 December 2018 the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Business Finland (BF) and National Innovation Agency of Thailand (NIA).

Business Finland (BF), a Finnish government agency in charge of innovation funding and export promotion, was represented by Executive Director Mr. ReijoKangas.

National Innovation Agency of Thailand (NIA), a public organization and an agency responsible for promoting and supporting innovation under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand, was represented by Executive Director Dr. Pun-ArjChairatana.

The collaboration in innovation and business development between the two countries will initiate a “shared knowledge within the broad scope of research and innovation in: Bio and Circular Economy, Sustainable and Smart Energy, Digitalization, Commercialization of Start-ups and Improving the competencies of domestic enterprises.”

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the House of Estate, Finland.
