Creative education from Finland in Bangkok

Finnish Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth has expanded to Thailand, where it on 27 July 2019 celebrated the grand opening of Arkki Thailand in the centre of Bangkok.

The ceremony was opened by Finnish ambassador Satu Suikkari-Kleven, and followed by panel discussions on Finnish education and the importance of creative education. Arkki courses were also showcased, including an architecture workshop and fashion design course.

Earlier in the morning Arkki International CEO, Ms. Pihla Meskanen and Arkki Thailand Founder Dr. Pivhawedee Kittipanya Ngam had the opportunity to have breakfast with Thailand’s Education Minister Mr. Nataphol Teepsuwan and talk about creative education.

Arkki is now present in 15 cities in seven countries across Europe and Asia, with two more locations set to open in Southeast Asia in the coming months.

The location of Arkki in Bangkok is in the Bambini Villa in 18 Soi Athakravi 1 Sukhumvit 26 Bangkok 10110.
