Embassy of Denmark showcases Vietnamese paintings

The Danish Embassy in Hanoi opened a Vietnamese art exhibition featuring 26 works by both established and emerging painters on August 29.

Pham Luc has contributed five pieces, famous artist Ngo Chinh three, and the remaining 18 will highlight the talents of young Vietnamese painters.
According to what An Embassy representative said the exhibition will last from late August 2013 to February 2014.

It is part of the Denmark’s Embassy’s Cultural Development and Exchange Fund project promoting Vietnamese art and supporting Vietnamese artists since 2012.

The project’s first exhibition opened in January 2013 with nine paintings by eight talented artists.
This latest exhibition was whittled down from 64 works submitted to the organising board spanning northern, central, and southern regional painters.
