Rembrandt Hotel donates Ball Room to Hope Fair 2017

Eric Hallin, General Manager, Rembrandt Hotel on Sukhumvit soi 18 in Bangkok is supporting the annual Hope Fair by offering the use of the Grand Ballroom of the hotel on Thursday this week, 28 September 2017.

The Hope Fair Bangkok is a shopping feast to discover new products and services in a delightful atmosphere, and an opportunity to support disadvantaged children living in Bangkok. It is also 100 Entrepreneurs and Artisans supporting the kids of the slums.

Since 2014, the Hope Fair Bangkok has grown to be the biggest Artisans and Entrepreneurs fair in Bangkok with more than 110 exhibitors joining together at the Rembrandt Hotel on Sukhumvit soi 18, to present delicatessen and chefs; fashion, accessories and designers, as well as kids personalized items, costumes and their creators, among other many other discoveries and the masterminds behind them. Shoppers enjoy discovering love-crafted products and discussing with their makers, getting gifts for their loved ones, tasting amazing homemade cuisine, and more!

All the merchants donate and support numerous projects with the Mercy Centre, dedicated for 45 years now in helping 3000 kids in need through 23 preschools in its neighborhood, Klongtoey. This year’s projects have been focusing on the renovation of the Romklao preschool, built in 1979, with first the replacing of all the windows which kept falling on the kids, and now the repairing of the roof which has been badly damaged by the storms.

The Hope Fair is a community enthusiastic in helping each other and making Bangkok a smaller Megalopolis. Events are held regularly and gather expats and locals in a stylish location.
