On 17 May the Danish Ambassador, Jon Thorgaard, and Ingrid Dahl-Madsen, Deputy Head of Mission, had an online meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the Embassy shared in a recent update.
Participants in the meeting from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand included the Director-General of European Affairs, Ms. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Director of Central Europe Division, Ms. Marinee Suwannamoli, and Northern Europe Officer, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat.
On the agenda were topics ranging from the Covid situation, human rights, commercial and economic cooperation, and the celebrations of the 400 years of relations between Thailand and Denmark in 2021.
Both sides agreed that there is scope for much collaboration within such sectors as Energy, Health, and Food and Agriculture.
The Danish Embassy looks forward to continued close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the near future, the Embassy stated.
