Martin Mok joined EQT Partners in December 2001 and is a Partner and Managing Director China. Martin holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics from Cambridge University. Prior to joining EQT Partners, he was an Associate at the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC in Hong Kong, responsible for making direct investments in Greater China. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1999, Martin was a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., Inc. in Hong Kong in 1997-1999. Martin is a member of the Mid-Market Partners Investment Committee and the Greater China II Internal Investment Committee.
Partner, East Capital
Karine Hirn, a French national, co-founded East Capital in 1997 in Stockholm. East Capital is a specialist in frontier and emerging markets with 2.5bn EUR in assets under management in public equity, private equity and real estate investments, and a diversified investor base across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The investment teams of East Capital do regular company visits and base their investment strategy on fundamental analysis with a long term perspective. East Capital was granted a QFII license in 2013 and is very active on the domestic A-shares market. Karine moved to Shanghai in 2010, when East Capital expanded its investment universe from Russia and Eastern Europe, to China and emerging Asia. She is now based in Hong Kong and heads the company’s investment operation in the region. Prior to East Capital, she was the head of EastBridge Bank in Moscow and started her career as Financial Consultant in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
Karine is a French trade counsellor, Vice Chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as well as a Board member of EuroCham. Karine has a degree from EM Lyon in France and a postgraduate degree from Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. She also studied at the Moscow Financial Academy and the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki. She is fluent in French, Russian, English, Swedish and is learning Mandarin.
Jesper Jos Olsson

Jesper Jos Olsson is a member of White Peak’s investment committee, and Co-founder of China Projects Holding Ltd. A serial entrepreneur, Mr Olsson co-founded and took public several internet companies such as Letsbuyit.com, Icon Medialab AB and the venture capital company Speed Ventures during the late 1990’s. Mr Olsson has been living in China since 2005.
Established in 2007, White Peak Real Estate is a European real estate investment firm focused on commercial, residential and multi-purpose property development in fast-developing cities throughout China. Richard Harris has 35 years business experience in Asia, Europe and the United States and has lived in Hong Kong for 43 years. He is a pioneer of the modern Asian investment community having worked in many countries in many investment management environments over that time. Mr Harris has a very wide global network incorporating high-ranking political, government and business figures.
