Restaurant Cajutan, Sukhumvit soi 18 and Stefan Hallin, Cajutan’s manager, opened on Saturday the 5th of April 2019 an exhibition with photographs by Michael J. Baines, Founder & President of the Dog sanctuary and rescues, Chonburi Thailand.
On the opening day, between 3 pm and 5 pm, visitors and dog lovers came to enjoy the many colorful photos and to have a few drinks served with assorted finger foods. Not only humans came to see and be seen, many of the visitors had brought their dogs along and believe it or not, a special “dog menu” was available. There were some small dogs and some bigger ones, enjoying dog ice creams and cuddles from everyone.
A real little sweetie was Rambo, an adorable and so calm Pomeranian. The paintings are sold for 3000.- baht framed and 2500.- baht unframed. There was also an auction consisting of several dog attributes like a leash, T-shirts, a special dog bowl etc. All funds went to the foundation.
For the hungry ones, Stefan offered dinner with discount.
Next exhibition will be a photo exhibition by Göran Ehren.
A fun and unusual Saturday event at Cajutan.
