JAKARTA – The first Indonesia-Sweden Tax Forum was held on July 2, co-chaired by Mr. John Hutagaol, Director of Tax Regulation II at the Directorate-General of Taxation together with Daniel Johansson, Chargé d’affaires a.i. 
During the meeting, five Swedish companies active in Indonesia as well as EuroCham were invited to bring up tax issues related to their investments in Indonesia, and the questions were answered by Mr. Hutagaols very competent team of tax officials. In additions, presentations were held on the Swedish tax system and Indonesia’s tax regulations related to foreign investments.
The co-chairs Mr. Hutagaol and Johansson agreed to continue cooperation in the framework of the Indonesia-Sweden Tax Forum, and to arrange a similar meeting within six months.
