More than 1,200 anticipated shoppers were lined up in front of the Swedish fashion brand H&M store on the opening day of  their first store in Danang, Vietnam on 28th November 2019.

The 1,600 square meter outlet is located in downtown Danang at the Vincom Ngo Quyen mall. With the price range starting from VND 99,000 ($4.27), the store aims to offer reasonably priced products for men, women and children.

Fredrik Famm, the brand’s Southeast Asia manager, said “a popular travel hotspot like Da Nang is a market with good potential.”

“H&M is keeping its prices reasonable in order to develop sustainably in Vietnam,” Mr. Famm said.

There are now three outlets in Hanoi and four in Ho Chi Minh City, and record-breaking sales with each opening. With the latest opening of their 8th outlet in Da Nang, H&M now has a presence in all three regions of the country.

“We hope to keep expanding in Vietnam in the coming years and make H&M the fashion brand of choice for all shoppers in the country,” Fredrik Famm said.
