Greenlanders in South East Asia can now vote through the Danish representations near you

People from Greenland will be able to vote via postal voting in the Greenlandic local election at the Danish embassy in Bangkok or the Danish Honorary Consulate in Phnom Penh.

If you fulfil the conditions for voting for the upcoming elections for the Greenlandic municipal councils, town boards and congregation representatives, you must make an appointment to cast your postal vote at one of the two representations.

The Danish embassy in Kuala Lumpur also announced on 12 January 2021, as follow:

The Greenlandic local elections are scheduled for 6 April 2021, and postal voting is possible from 4 January 2021. Please make an appointment with this Embassy or the Danish Consulates in Penang/Kuching/Kota Kinabalu for an appointment to cast your votes. You must bring your passport for identification purpose to the appointment. The last date for voting: 29 March 2021.
