Malaysian kids learned Swedish cooking

As a part of the campaign Culinary Sweden in Malaysia the Embassy of Sweden had invited Malaysian children to learn traditional Swedish cooking at YoungChefsAcademy. The children came from Rumah Kids and Rumah Hope and besides the Chef Abang Brian they were assisted by two little girls dressed as Pippi Longstocking, who is a known character from the popular children’s books written by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.

According to the food event’s Facebook-page about 40 children participated in the Swedish cooking class and learned how to cook Swedish meatballs and chocolate biskvis.

The campaign Culinary Sweden ran from September 12 – 22 in Kuala Lumpur and included a long list of other events.
