Mikkeller, a Danish microbrewery, will be opening a new bar in Chiang Mai in Thailand. According to a press release from 3 February 2017 the new bar will be opening sometime in the spring. Mikkeller already has bars in Singapore, Taipei, Seoul and another one in Thailand located in Bangkok.
With the aim of brewing beers that challenges the concept of good beer and moves people, Danish Mikkel Borg Bjergsø started the microbrewery in his very own living room back in 2006. He has since expanded from his living room to 27 bars, with 7 more coming in the spring of 2017.
