Norway launches quality trademark in Thailand

When you see yourself as an exporter of quality goods, it’s vital that the customers are aware that the product actually has its origin from you.

And in an effort to do so, the The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) has released a country-of-origin trademark to print on all products going from Norway to Thailand, according to The Nation.

“Nobody knows salmon like the Norwegians”, said Jon Erik Steenslid, NSC’s regional director. “Norway is a country with a long, celebrated tradition of living as one with the ocean. The locals over generations have worked to preserve the ocean with the utmost care, and it is this culture that makes Norway truly a nation of seafood, and the second largest seafood exporter in the world.”

The release event was held at Siam Paragon, where the promotion will last until April 25th.
