On 14 November Innovation Norway and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore are jointly organising the ‘Norway-Singapore Maritime Digitalisation Forum 2017

E-Cert MoU by Danish Norwegian and Singapore Maritime Authorities: a step in the right direction to digitalise shipping industry

The maritime industry is facing up to a new world where digitalisation is embracing the world and creating unparalleled opportunity for development and innovation. Industry 4.0 concepts plus the evolution and advancement of existing platforms are offering new growth opportunities for maritime and related transport and supply chain infrastructure. In order to achieve digital success, one requires knowledge and understanding, and an ability to drive one’s company’s digital thinking and transformation rather than be driven by it.

The forum will examine and explore how we can harness all these opportunities and debate on which are those that are going to crystalize for adoption and make a real difference. It will investigate how the leading maritime players can identify the real digital legacy in front of us and truly embrace digitalisation in maritime and transport.

Mr Esben Poulsson

The Ambassador of Norway to Singapore, Her Excellency Anita Nergaard, will grace the Forum as Guest-of-Honour. President of the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), Mr Esben Poulsson, will also be chairing a panel discussion at the Forum. Registration is by invitation only.
