Norwegian man stabilized

The 37-year old norwegian man who was reported to be imminent danger due to lack of blood has now been stabilized. The man suffering from anemia received the three units of O-negative blood that he was in need of after the Phuket Regional Blood Center made a cry for help last week.

PRBC Chief Pornthip Rattajak said last week, that the hospital was running low in stock on every type of blood and urged people to come and donate. Several responded immediately to the cry for help.

Although the man is now safe, the PRBC Chief still encourages people to donate as the blood stocks are record low. Blood can be donated at the PRBC headquarters on Rattanakosin 200 Year Road in the following hours.
