On 24 November the opening of Finnish Christmas event at Jinqiao Lifehub in Shanghai took place.
The opening speech was delivered by the Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, and a Christmas tree was lit up to symbolize the official start of the Christmas season.
Finnish companies including Marja Kurki and Valio opened pop-up stores and the well-known character Moomin also appeared on stage.
Finnish Christmas event at Jinqiao Lifehub is organized by Chongbang Group in collaboration with Team Finland.
It will run until early January. During this time Jingqiao lifehub will be hosting various Finnish culture events including:
29 November: Ida Elina concert
8 December: Moomin + Finnish Nightmares (Matti) event
9 December: Santa Claus meeting time
16 December: Angry Birds party
22 – 25 December: Finnish contemporary circus: Clunker Circus: L’Avventura
