The 8th Pattaya International Beach Football Tournament 2012 kicked off on Friday 14 December 2012 on Jomtien beach in Pattaya at 5 – 7.30p.m. The first kick was Denmark VS Holland.
The 8th Pattaya International Beach Football Tournament press conference was held on 12 December 2012 at Pattaya City Hall.
Among those attending were Deputy Mayor Wattana Jantanawaranon, Deputy Mayor Weerawat Khakhai, Police Colonel Su-wan Chiao-na-win-tha-wat, the Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, Mr. Niels Colov, the CEO PAttaya People Media Group, beach football players from many countries and the media.
At the press conference, Deputy Wattana said that the tournament focuses on the love and harmony between the citizens and foreign residents in Pattaya. The objective is to create good relations among the participating teams, to enhance Pattaya’s good image on sports competitions, and to promote tourism.
Mr. Niels Colov said thank you to all the team captains and players and also gave special thanks to City Hall for organizing this great annual event for all the nationalities living in Pattaya.
The tournament runs from Friday 14 December 2012 to Saturday 22 December 2012 at 5.00-7.30 p.m. on Jomtien Beach.
