SAS forced to stop sales to Hong Kong

SAS immediately stopped ticket sales to the new long distance route to Hong Kong. The airline does not have all the licenses.

Only one week ago, SAS announced the opening of a long distance route between Stockholm and Hong Kong. But today the airline stopped the sale and flights have already been removed in the reservation systems.

“We have been delayed because of some formal approvals that needs to be ready before we start selling tickets. It means that we have to wait a bit before we start promoting the new long distance route. We expect to reopen the campaign in about two weeks,” Trine Kromann-Mikkelsen, chief of press at SAS in Denmark says to CHECK-IN.dk.
