Not only is Stine Martinussen the new President to Danish Business Association Singapore (DABS), she is also the first woman to be President for the association.
“I am honoured to be the first female President and I would like to offer my sincerest gratitude to our members for their support and for this opportunity,” says Stine Martinussen in DABS’ newsletter.
She was given the title on Thursday 10 March 2016, when DABS held their Annual General Meeting and replaced the previous President Jakob Bergholt. Here four new committee members were elected to replace 4 members leaving, and both new President and committee members were warmly welcomed.
Stine Martinussen hopes to build on the foundations laid by her predecessors and bring DABS to new strengths in the coming year.
The Annual General Meeting was held at the Danish Seaman’s Church, and in addition to handing over the President post and welcoming new members, guests could enjoy networking and dinner along with a talk by Anders M. Hansen, who talked about what Danish companies do good and bad in the international environment.
