At the event, Maria Sargren, the Ambassador of Sweden to Cambodia shared the key making Sweden become well-governed country is team work. In Sweden, the procedure of formulating major public policy initiatives always involves the consultation and contribution of civil society organisations (CSOs).

“This is standard practice, deeply rooted in Swedish policy making and the Swedish public administration culture.
“When preparing for a new Swedish development cooperation strategy here in Cambodia, it is therefore very important for us to consult with Cambodian civil society to help shaping our analysis and our strategy,” said Ambassador Maria Sargren.
