HONG KONG, Nov. 26 — Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive CY Leung met visiting King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden at Government House here on Tuesday.
Leung welcomed the king, who is visiting Hong Kong in his capacity as honorary chairman of the World Scout Foundation.
Leung said the Scout Association of Hong Kong is the largest youth uniformed group in the city that has helped nurture many outstanding youngsters, adding the government will continue to support its youth development work.
Leung also said Hong Kong has been maintaining close ties with Sweden, and hopes that with more exchanges on all fronts, bilateral relations between the two places will be enhanced.
