The world’s biggest IKEA to open in the Philippines

Swedish furniture company IKEA has announced the opening of the first IKEA store in the Philippines in 2020.

The new store in the Philippines will be the biggest IKEA store in the world, according to the Embassy of Sweden in Manila.

Swedish Ambassador Harald Fries joined IKEA Southest Asia Managing Director Christian Rojkjaer and IKEA Philippines Store Manager Georg Platzer in the official brand launching in front of more than 200 guests.

The store will be located SM Mall os Asia complex.

IKEA was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Feodor Kamprad.
