Volvo recently released its three brand new models in the Philippines with environmentally friendly engines. The official launch was at the ‘Future of Electric Forum’ organized by Volvo Philippines on September 27, 2019 together with Partnership for Clean Air at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
At the Forum, Volvo unveiled the T8 Plug-in Hybrids engine that is fitted on three of their models : VolvoXC60 compact crossover, The Volvo S90 Estate and the midsize SUV premium, Volvo XC90.
The latest model offering variety of driving options that is environmentally friendly in line with the brand philosophy to deliver safety, caring and cleaner mobility for every driving occasion.
Volvo yet again offering high performance vehicles while submitting low emission on petrol engine and electrical engine. Range goes from optional full power mode, to pure electric mode or a balanced hybrid mode.
The engine is set to deliver more than 400 HP and drive up to 47+ kilometres on one charge. As for its fuel efficiency, the electrified automobiles are capable of saving up to 15 percent on fuel and emission reductions in real life driving, apart from electrical option.

“As early as the 1970s, Volvo made concrete steps in finding solutions to environmental challenges. Since then, Volvo has pushed the boundaries in addressing the environmental impact that our cars make,” he added.
Currently, the latest powerful yet environmentally friendly models of CX60, S9 and XC90 are available at every Volvo Philippines dealership.
