On Friday 9 December 2016, the Embassy of Denmark in Myanmar and the Ministry of Electricity and Energy co-hosted an energy management workshop in co-operation with World Wildlife Fund and the Danish wind turbines producer Vestas.
At the workshop, experts presented international experiences for integration of renewable power and management in power systems providing efficient, reliable and affordable electricity.
The Ambassador to Denmark in Myanmar, Peter Lysholt-Hansen gave a speech on the occasion. In his speech, Ambassador Hansen expressed hope that the workshop could provide useful inputs on the way forward for Myanmar to develop its energy mix, the so-called grid.
