DANES woldwide held an information meeting in Pattaya on Sunday 11 Feb 2018. Secretary General Anne Marie Dalgaard introduced the Association and gave up to date information on new Danish regulations for family reunion and pensions. Teacher Paw Kraglund introduced the Danish Language programs and summer schools offered by the association as well as give insights on developing multiple language skills for children.
The meeting was well attended with 27 participants filling the chancery of the Norwegian Consulate. The participant asked many questions and appreciated the visit to Pattaya by the DANES association. The participants had many questions related to their rights and opportunities to possibly return to Denmark with their families and retain their rights as Danish citizens in general.
As Stig Vagt-Andersen is stepping down after a two year term as local representative of DANES in Eastern Seaboard, the association is looking to appoint a new representative to assist DANES with its local activities and member recruitment.
