Medema Donates Mini Crosser to Chinese Rehabilitation Centre

Medema Production Export Manager Jan Bill Henschke on on 9 January 2012 donated a mini crosser motorized wheel chair to China Foundation for Disabled Persons (CFDP) Vice Chair-person Ms. Tang Xiaoqun at a ceremony at the Danish Embassy.


Medema Denmark has a special position within the the Norwegian Medema Group because the company develops, produces and sells the well known and market leading Mini Crosser electric scooters and Jazzy electric wheelchairs. The operation is seperated into two companies, Medema Denmark AS selling and marketing the products and Medema Production A / S manufacturing the product.

At the event, where Medema donated the wheel chair to CFDP, Danish Ambassador to China, Mr. Friis Arne Petersen said that although Danish-Chinese co-operation wikthin healthcare, rehabilitation and eldercare was not a new development, the cooperation has definitely picked up momentum over the last few years.


“The support from Medema underlines the strong interest in this field, and I am confident their presence here is a sign of a strong long term commitment towards the Chinese market,” he added.


“The Chinese health care sector continues to develop. We hope and expect to see increasingly strong ties between Denmark and China not only in this field but also between our governments and companies,” said the Danish Ambassador.


CFDP has been under the leadership of Mr. Deng Pufang for over 20 years.
