10th ASEAN Summit to take place in Laos

The 10th ASEAN Summit is scheduled to take place in Vientiane, Laos this November.
      As a new member of ASEAN with a less-developed economy, Lao Prime Minister Bounnhang Vorachit encouraged Lao people to contribute more actively in preparing the conference to welcome the state and government leaders from 15 participating countries.
      PM Vorachit believes that Laos will successfully organize the upcoming ASEAN Summit and that the conference will be a historic event for the country.
