Danish-Southeast Asian round table discussion to be organised in Hanoi

Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Per Stig Moller, will preside at a Danish-Southeast Asian roundtable conference on October 7, which is a sideline activity towards the 5th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to be held on October 8-9.
     Delegates from Danish companies across Southeast Asia as well as companies in Denmark with interests in the region will get an exclusive chance to meet with the Danish minister, who will among others present his view of and role in Southeast Asia from a commercial and political point of view.
     Key persons from Danish chambers of commerce and business associations in the region and representatives from participating Danish organisations will also share their experiences and views on the global challenges in the region and the possibilities for the Danish business community in this respect.
     Discussion topics will include the consequences of China’s full membership of WTO, the ASEAN cooperation including the AFTA, and possibilities for the governmental organisations to promote the interests of the Danish companies in Southeast Asia, including coordination of the different export promotion programs of the Danish government.
