The Malaysian-Swedish Business Association (MASBA) hosted its annual Ambassadors Dinner at Hilton Sentral in Kuala Lumpur in co-operation with Svenska Handelsbanken on September 19, 2012.
MASBA had the great pleasure of welcoming Swedens new Ambassador; HE Bengt G Carlsson to the dinner. Business leaders and representatives of Swedish and Malaysian companies had the opportunity to network and meet with the new Ambassador.
After some introductory speeches and mingle, the 70 guests had the honor of listening to Handelsbankens Chief Economist Mr. Jan Haggstrom on the topic of world economy.
Hilton’s Chef Michael Elwfing had, as always, prepared a wellcomposed menu with swedish influences such as smoked salmon and chantresse soup.
During the dinner MASBAs four new member companies; BHIC Bofors, SMT Technologies, Lundin Malaysia and SAAB International were introduced and presented themselves.
The evening was rounded off with a Q&A session on world economy.
