Sweden’s Defence Minister, Ms Leni Björklund, is visiting Thailand between 11 and 13 February.
Her main aim is to see and talk to Swedish rescue and defence forces staff engaged in tsunami relief work in Thailand.
The Defence Minister is also scheduled to visit some damaged areas in the south.
She will meet her Thai counterpart and convey Sweden’s gratitude to the search done by Thai defence personnel for Swedish citizens that died during the disaster.
