Duni is building a Bt40-million injection-moulding plant at its factory in Prachin Buri. Mr. Roland Grohmann, Duni group’s regional director for the Asia-Pacific, said the expansion is in response to growing demand in the Asia Pacific region. The new plant should increase the company’s production capacity to 5,000 tonnes per year.
“Thailand is experiencing strong economic growth, particularly in the tourism, hospitality and aviation industries,” Roland Grohmann explains.
“This new investment is driven by demand in food solutions for travellers and the launch of the new Bangkok international airport, which is expected to be a gateway to other countries in Asia and the Pacific.”
