KL trade office opens 1 July

Sweden’s trade office in Kuala Lumpur will open for business on 1 July 2005, announced the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm 20 May.
“Malaysia is one of the countries that have the highest growth in South East Asia,” says Thomas Östros, Minister for Industry and Trade in a comment to the announcement. “Private consumption increases, as does import as well as export. That provides great opportunities for Swedish business.”
The trade office will have five staff, of which one is a trade secretary whose name has not yet been released, and operated by the Swedish Trade Council.
