Danish Firms Keen to Invest in Malaysia

         The Confederation of Danish Industries (DI) is interested in investing in Malaysian Information Technology.
         Jan Zneider, the head of DI stated in a press conference on 24 October 2005, that Malaysia can support the software and hardware technologies for the electronics and telecommunication industries because it has the necessary infrastructure, intellectual property law, education system, labor skills, and language requirements, as English is commonly used to develop software programs.
         Eight local companies in Penang are interested in forming partnerships with Danish companies to expand their business together in the future.
