Euro-Vietnam Jazz Festival 2005 will take place from 30 November to 10 December, 2005 in Hanoi and HCM City. There will be nine European jazz bands and solo artists from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg.
Joaquin Chacon and MOTIF bands will represent Norway, Torbjorn Zetterberg Hot Five Sweden, drummer Lars Storck Denmark, Aka Moon Belgium, trumpeter Ernie Hamm Luxembourg, and Trondheym Germany. Along with Vietnam’s Trong Sam band, singer Tung Duong, and trumpeter Trung Dong, they are expected to bring joyful performances to Vietnamese audiences.
The main stages of the festival will be the Worker’s Theatre in Hanoi and HCM City’s Conservatory. Jazz artists and famous DJs from the UK, France and Vietnam will perform a show at Hanoi’s West Lake Water Park at 8pm, December 10.
