Swedish State Secretary Visits Indonesia

Mr. Lars, Swedish State Secretary, and his delegation have visited Indonesia January 12-14 for bilateral talks with the Indonesian Government.
         During his two-day visit, Danielsson had talks with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda, and Minister for Information and Communication Sofyan Djalil. Danielson was also scheduled to met Ali Alatas, the Special Envoy to the Secretary General on UN Reforms.
         The talks were held to cover a broad range of issues, including UN reform, bilateral issues, and the situation in Aceh, as well as regional issues.
         President Susilo is a member of the Leaders’ Network in Support of UN Reform.
