“Finland –A Way Of Life” exhibition will be held at Melaka Historic City Council in Malaysia on February 20-25 2006.
The exhibition provides an ipression of Finland, its nature, and also art in posters. The posters also tell about Finnish design culture through examples of serial products and industrial design.
Design and architecture are powerful aspects of Finland’s culture and identity. Both have received international recognition and reaped a harvest of prizes.The Finnish artists have collected some of the most sought-after awards in international competitions.
Finnish posters have been shown at numerous international exhibitions, biennials and triennials in Europe, North America and Asia.
Leading Finnish graphic artists have also acted as members of committees and juries of foreign graphic art competitions.
The exhibition is organized together with Melaka Historic City Council.
