Indonesia Offers Visa-on-Arrival For Swedish Visitors

The Indonesian government has granted a visa-on-arrival facility for Swedish visitors to increase tourist visits from the European country. The visa-on-arrival policy was made effective March 15.
“It has been issued to boost tourist numbers and cooperation efforts between the two countries,” Immigration Office spokesman Soepriatna Anwar said Wednesday, according to the Jakarta Post.
Under the privilege, Swedish visitors can obtain their visa upon their arrival for 10 U.S. dollars for a week-long stay, and 25 dollars for 30 days.
Sweden joins 36 countries currently eligible for the visas.
