The Norwegian Red Cross Society (NRC) has funded a three year project to strengthen the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VNRC).
The NRC grant, worth about US$ 660,000, will focus specifically on improving the abilities of VNRC bodies that carry out projects to help vulnerable people at provincial level in four provinces, including Yen Bai, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang and Binh Dinh.
The project was signed April 11 between the VNRC and the NRC in Ha Noi and according to the VNRC, Norway is one of five European countries helping to improve the VNRC.
