Sibelius’ Kullervo Symphony To Play in Singapore

The Kullervo Symphony by Finland’s Jean Sibelius will be played in Singapore for the first time May 20, at the Esplanade, a concert hall famous for its acoustics.
The famous Helsinki University Chorus Ylioppilaskunnan Laulajat (YL Male Voice Choir) featuring the highly esteemed Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) will perform Sibelius’ Kullervo Symphony, which tells a tale from the Finnish literary epic Kalevala.
The choir is conducted by Finnish maestro and SSO Principal Guest Conductor, Okko Kamu.
