‘Tsatsiki, Mum and the Policeman’ will be the first film screened following the opening ceremony in Hanoi. The other films include Immediate Boarding, Elina, Emma and Daniel, Strong as a Lion, A Witch in the Family, and Star Sisters.
Following activities of the film week include talks on cinematography for children in addition to Sweden’s experiences on the issue. A training course for primary school teachers under the topic “Film at School” will also be organized at Kim Dong Primary School in Hanoi.
Besides film, other cultural spheres are also parts of the program, namely fine arts, theatre, literature, music and copyrights.
This film week is considered as one of first activities to open the project on this cultural cooperation between Swedish Film Institute and its Vietnamese counterpart, Vietnam Film Institute to promote Vietnam culture with sustainable development. The program is funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
Tickets will be offered for free and available at Cinema Ngoc Khanh in Hanoi and Cinema Dai Quang and Cinema Dong Da in Ho Chi Minh City.
