Nokia Lands New Deal With Malaysian Celcom

The Nokia powered solution will allow Celcom subscribers to increase connectivity speed by up to 10 times the current rate, and they will see prices drop as well, Nokia writes in a press statement.
In addition, the Finnish group will be expanding Celcom’s current third-generation (3G) network to four new regions in the country.
“This deal further strengthens our ties with Celcom, and shows Nokia’s commitment to bring the most advanced mobile services to fast growing markets in the Asia Pacific,” Bill Chang, country director of Malaysia networks at Nokia, said.
