Thai-Danish trip to National Park

The Thai-Danish Club will go on a full day tour to Kaengkrachan National Park together on Satuday 15 June 2006. This one day trip is the first event organized by the recently formed Thai-Danish Club (also known as the alumni of the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce) and the organizers hope that many members will support the initiative and join the trip.
The trip will start in the morning at 6 o’clock when the bus leaves from Kasetsart University. At 9 o’clock it will arrive the national park, where a day of fun and outdoor activities await the participants.
A major event will be the very entertaining Water Rally, which is like a rally or a treasure hunt only it is all conducted in teams in boats. Members are advised to bring extra clothes if they should get wet or sweaty. The rally will last until lunch time. Before lunch, it will be possible to take a shower.
After lunch and some additional free leisure time, the members will go together by bus to visit the suspension bridge. The scenery is very lush and jungle-like at the bridge, which you may cross or – if you don’t dare – just enjoy the view of while feeding the many kind of fish living in the stream.
Afterwards, the bus will go back to Bangkok with a short souvenir stop along the way. Expected arrival back at Kasetsart will be 8 o’clock in the evening.
The trip is quite ambitious considering it is the first activity arranged by the Thai-Danish Cub. The club hopes, however, that the members will show their support of the committee’s efforts and take the chance to get together to know each other better. The event is a family event, where participation is set at the very low cost of 750 baht per member and 400 baht for their children under 12 years.
